Delete Your TruckerHand Account
This page explains how to delete your TruckerHand account, what gets removed, and what may be retained. It applies to accounts created in the TruckerHand app or on truckerhand.com, both published by TheMagne LLC.
How to delete your account from the app
- Open TruckerHand and go to the Account tab.
- If you want a copy of your data, export it first. A full export of your records is available in the app. Once your account is deleted, your data can no longer be exported.
- Choose Delete Account and confirm. Deletion is initiated as soon as you confirm.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, the following is removed:
- Trips and route records.
- Expenses, receipts data, and financial records you entered.
- Compliance records.
- Wellness logs.
- App settings and preferences.
- Your sign-in identity with our authentication provider.
What may be retained
A limited set of records may be kept in minimized form after deletion, where reasonably necessary: records of your acceptance of our legal documents, and billing and transaction traces related to payments already processed. These records are kept separately from your sign-in identity and are not used to keep your account active. For more detail on retention, see the Privacy Policy.
If you can no longer sign in
If you cannot access your account, email support@truckerhand.com from the email address associated with your TruckerHand account and request deletion. We use that address to verify that the request comes from the account owner before acting on it.
